Our mission at Famba Fitness is to help each student to realise their Inner-Strength through the art of calisthenics training. Learn how to do exciting calisthenics skills, and handstands, gain more control of your body and build the body of your dreams with your own body weight.
We have experience in helping students of all levels reach their goals and we will continue to show that calisthenics is a great way to train and is suitable for everyone. Whether you've never trained before or you want to try calisthenics for the first, we're happy to be of assistance. Every journey starts from the beginning, the key is to take it one step at a time.

What's Famba Fitness Amsterdam About?
Famba Fitness is about helping each student improve their quality of life. We're the only outdoor gym in Amsterdam that mixes calisthenics, weight training and movement. It's amazing to see the community growing and we welcome more motivated individuals.
The group lessons at Famba Fitness are one of a kind, you won't find anything else like it anywhere in Amsterdam. We invest the time to design each student a personalised training program so they get the best results. No one is the same, so each person requires a specific approach to reach their goals. Think of the group lessons, as group personal training sessions.
If you prefer a 1-to-1 approach then the private personal training sessions are for you. In every session the full focus will be on you, to help you reach your goals safely and as fast as possible. The great thing about this approach is that it allows you more flexibility. You can book time slots that are best for you based on your work schedule and other agendas.
With both options, you'll discuss your goals, and injuries with our personal trainer Solly and you can get to know each other. Next, would be booking a trial lesson to see if this is the right fit for you. In the trial, it will be an assessment of your current training level and mobility. Then if you're ready to kick start you're calisthenics journey, a program covering training, nutrition and recovery will be designed for you.

I really enjoy calistheincs training, it's so different from the other types of training that I've done over the years. I've gained so much strength training with Solly in the outdoor gym in Amsterdam. I can feel the benefits that it has on my other activities, running, climbing and surfing.
I'm very hard on myself but to be honest I'm extremely happy and excited for the future! I was never able to do 10 strict pullups with straight legs and arms let alone 12, 15, 17 . It's a sick and smart program! I can't wait for the next weeks and months! Thanks a lot for the coaching and I love training in the calisthenics park .
I like training in the outdoor gym and doing exercises that engage muscles that I never knew I had. These exercises are the ones that have helped me be able to do things like muscle up, handsatnd pushs and more. I want to keep learning more about my body and challenging my mind.
I love this style of calisthenics training. I'm learning so much about my body and I enjoy every moment of it. I used to have a lot of lower back pain but now it's better because of the level of care my personal trainer Solly takes. I can feel my core and muscles that I've never used before getting stronger.
After a few weeks of training with Solly in the outdoor gym, I realized that I was training wrong all these years. I would train until my body burnt out but it didn't bring me the results I wanted. Now I train in a smart way and I'm seeing massive results. After 2 months the strength and muscle I gained were something I couldn't believe.
