New at Famba: Saturday Calisthenics Class

For years at Famba Fitness, we’ve been running our group personal training system through membership only, helping our students transform their bodies, unlock calisthenics skills, and build strength and mobility with a structured, personalized approach.

This end of the year, after growing from 4 to 5 classes per week, we started getting more and more messages from people who wanted to train with us… but needed a bit more flexibility. People who were curious about our calisthenics method, who wanted to experience Famba before committing to a group personal training membership, or who simply wanted a weekly class they could join without being tied to a monthly membership.

So, we listened.

And today, we’re excited to officially announce:

Famba is opening the Saturday Class for non-members to join

Every Saturday | 9:00–10:00 AM | Open for drop-in sessions

This is a huge step for us and something we’re really proud to offer. It’s the first time Famba is opening its doors to non-members in this way, giving more people in the Rembrandtpark area the chance to train our calisthenics system, join our community for flexible sessions, and see what makes Famba so special.

Why We Created the Drop-In Class

After speaking with many interested people, busy professionals, parents, newcomers to calisthenics, and even seasoned trainees, we realised something clear:

People wanted access to Famba, but with more flexibility.

Whether it was scheduling, travel, or wanting to “try before committing to a group membership,” there was a big demand for a class that was flexible to join without needing a membership.

This class gives exactly that.

You can now step into our community, meet our team, train our methods, and get a taste of what calisthenics can do for your body, all in a single 60-minute session.

And we’re genuinely excited to welcome new faces into the group.

What Is this Class: Calisthenics Movement?

This class is a powerful blend of calisthenics basics, mobility development, and dynamic movement training, designed to build a strong, capable, and resilient body.

🔹 1. Calisthenics Basics (Strength & Control)

We focus heavily on foundational movements like:

  • Acquiring and mastering the Push Up

  • Acquiring and mastering the Pull Up

  • Unlocking single leg control with skills like the Pistol Squat

  • Gaining a new level of core strength with skills like the L-Sit

🔹 2. Locomotion & Movement (Mobility & Flow)

This is where the class becomes unique.
You’ll explore a wide range of movement patterns that massively improve your mobility, coordination, range of motion, and body awareness.

🔹 3. Hanging & Climbing (Shoulders & Grip)

Expect elements of climbing and hanging — amazing for:

  • shoulder health

  • grip strength

  • spinal decompression

  • joint conditioning

🔹 4. Crawling Patterns (Core & Full Body Conditioning)

Crawling is one of the most underrated forms of strength training.
It challenges your core, coordination, and stability like nothing else.
